Much as I hate asking for help, I was only able to release Hypnotise last year due to the generosity and support of a number of my followers. I am incredibly grateful and humbled that you would choose to support me in the creation of my art so once again, thank you to everyone who was able to contribute, share or follow my work!

Cover Songs
One of my favourite videos following the campaign was the challenge set to me by Luc to record a cover of Little Wheel Spin and Spin by Buffy Sainte-Marie. This was a song that I had never heard up until this point and in a very different style to music I have played in the past. Nevertheless, a good song is a good song and there is always a way to adapt it to fit in with your style. I really enjoyed playing this and I hope you like how it came out too:
Travel
When I put the option of a personal gig at the donors house, I really didn’t expect anyone to take me up on it but I was amazed when Chris from France did just that!
Unfortunately, due to health reasons, I wasn’t able to travel straight away as I was out of action for a good 6 months in 2017 but as soon as I was able, I found a way to get to the wonderful city of Toulon.
It was a fantastic trip and Chris was kind enough to show me around the city and the surrounding areas which are another level of beauty. I love the way of life in the south of France and in our busy city lives in the UK, I definitely thing we can learn a thing or two!
As I wanted the performance to be special, for the journey, I also took along a friend (Sean Parry of Sacred Knot Tattoo) to help me with some of the songs by playing drum or providing backing vocals. We performed a number of songs in Chris’ living room and also managed to find a way to play an impromptu gig on the top of Mount Faron overlooking the city and the bay. It was a spectacular view and challenging to play in the sweltering Mediterranean sun but well worth it.
