How we store your information
Duncan Reed Music is a Data Controller. Details of any orders received are stored on our password protected account within WordPress. All financial details are collected by the payment provider, Stripe who have their own Privacy Policy which we would recommend you read if you are concerned.
We do not delete any of our email correspondence with our customers as a general rule but you can request this be deleted at any time.
Clients who have chosen to join our mailing list will have their email addresses stored on our website and nowhere else. Access to this is password protected and we will never share or sell your contact information to a third party. Our mailing list is a strictly opt-in system and by subscribing to our mailing list you agree to let us contact you from time to time with news of offers, sales and new designs. You will remain on our mailing list until such a time as you indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by us. You can do this by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our newsletter or contacting us at any time at duncanreed@live.co.uk At this point your email address will be permanently deleted.
Requests for deletion of your data
If you decide that you no longer wish us to keep some or all of the data we have from your order/s then simply email duncanreed@live.co.uk and tell us what information you would like securely deleted. Please note that for tax purposes we will have to store your invoices and records of your payments for 5 years after the end of the tax year they relate to. For example, a payment made in May 2018 will be stored until the end of January 2025.
You can also request a copy of any and all information stored about you. Again, simply email duncanreed@live.co.uk. This service is free and we will meet your request within 1 calendar month.
